Honest Maids does move out cleaning in Sherman Oaks. We are family owned and based in Reseda, and this is the clean built for a property that is changing hands rather than one you are keeping. It is scoped around an inspection: an empty unit, every surface reachable, appliances opened, and the places a walkthrough always checks. Sherman Oaks moves a lot of tenants, because the flat grid north of Ventura Boulevard holds a dense band of rental buildings along Dickens Street, Hazeltine Avenue, Kester Avenue, Van Nuys Boulevard, and Woodman Avenue, much of it built between the 1950s and the 1970s.
Those older buildings inspect in a particular way. The units usually have original bathroom tile, a small galley or single wall kitchen, sliding closet doors with tracks that collect grit, and a wall or window air unit whose grille has never been touched. Managers look at the same list every time: inside the oven and under the burner pans, the refrigerator including the seals and the drip tray, cabinet and drawer interiors, the medicine cabinet, window and slider tracks, baseboards, closet shelves, light fixtures, and the balcony or patio slab if the unit has one. We work that list rather than a general tidy, because the deposit turns on it.
The other half of this work is different again. Condos in the buildings along the Ventura Boulevard corridor come with HOA rules: a move window, an elevator that has to be booked and padded, and a service entrance. Houses on the hill roads south of the boulevard are usually sale cleans rather than lease ends, which means the clean is timed to photography or to a buyer walkthrough and includes the garage, the glass, and any detached unit. Tell us which situation you are in when you book, and we scope the visit to it. The estimate is free and no card is needed to hold a date.
Signed, the Honest Maids crew.
