Honest Maids does move out cleaning in Lake Balboa. We are family owned and based in Reseda, and this is the job we do when a place is changing hands and someone is going to walk it with a clipboard. It is not the same as a deep clean. A deep clean resets a home you are keeping. A move out clean is aimed at a specific audience: the landlord, the property manager, or the HOA inspector who decides whether the deposit comes back.
About a third of the households in Lake Balboa rent, and most of that stock sits along the main corridors. Two and three story apartment buildings on Victory Boulevard, Sherman Way, Vanowen Street, and Saticoy Street, plus newer condo and townhome complexes with an HOA behind them. The access details matter more than people expect. Many of these buildings have a call box or a gate code rather than a front desk. Parking is often a carport or a tandem subterranean space with nothing set aside for visitors. A two story walk up means a stairwell rather than an elevator, and every bag of equipment goes up and down it. Tell us those things in the first text and we plan the crew and the timing around them.
Rented houses here have their own list. A lot of the single family rentals are the same postwar ranches the neighborhood was built from, which means aluminum framed sliders with grit packed into the bottom tracks, original bathroom tile with grout that has gone grey, wall and floor registers, painted wood baseboards, and a detached or converted garage that the lease usually counts as part of the property. Managers check all of it, and they check it in an empty unit where there is nothing to hide behind.
Our cleaners are our own trained employees. They bring every product and machine, work an empty unit top to bottom, and finish with the floors. You get a free written estimate before anything is booked, no card is needed to hold a date, and if the manager flags something we come back.
Signed, the Honest Maids crew.
